LIFE, LOVE, & LENNY – A Celebration of Lenny White will take place on March 6 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater in NYC.
Four-time Grammy Award-winning drummer, producer and composer Lenny White, who turned 75 back in December, is looking forward to a special night with some of his closest friends like Return to Forever bandmates Stanley Clarke and Al DiMeola, and other legends like Ron Carter and Dianne Reeves.

On this episode of The Art of the Story, Lenny White talks about the special concert. He was just nineteen, he got to record with the iconic trumpeter Miles Davis on the influential album Bitches Brew.
Presented by Tzedakah 4 All, the event will also feature performances with an orchestra conducted by Maestro Steve Mecurio, and appearances from fellow artists Buster Williams, Omar Hakim, Patrice Rushen, Al Foster, Mike Clark, Billy Hart, and Billy Drummond.
Laurence Fishburne will serve as emcee.
