Trevor Smith
ProducerTrevor has been listening to WBGO for nearly half of his life. The station has remained near and dear from the first time he tuned in via a portable radio on a bus from his home city of Hartford to New York.
Since graduating from Berklee College of Music and moving to New York City in 2011, Trevor has worked extensively in the jazz community (National Jazz Museum in Harlem, Jazz House Kids, Christian McBride) and proudly joined Newark Public Radio in 2017.
Trevor currently serves as a producer for the station, writing and producing for Jazz Night in America in addition to Jazz United and other WBGO Studios programs.
