Jessica Molaskey

Singer and Dinner Jazz co-host Jessica Molaskey appeared last season on Broadway as Miss Jane in the critically acclaimed production of Floyd Collins at Lincoln Center. Over the course of her career, she has created the roles of Alma in the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil written by Jason Robert Brown and Taylor Mac, and Muriel in Brown's The Connector at the MCC Theater, the latter of which earned her Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations. She has appeared in the Broadway productions of Sunday in the Park with George, Parade, A Man of No Importance, Dream, Tommy, Crazy for You, Les Misérables, City of Angels, Chess, Cats and Oklahoma! She has released 6 solo recordings and appeared on 9 original cast albums. For twenty years, she and her husband, guitarist and vocalist John Pizzarelli, have enjoyed a fall residency at the Cafe Carlyle, described by Stephen Holden of the New York Times as "Caviar in a world of canned tuna!"

Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook, guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli has expanded that repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim, and the Beatles. In addition to being a bandleader and solo performer, Pizzarelli has been a special guest on recordings for major pop names such as Natalie Cole, Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Wopat, Rickie Lee Jones, and Dave Van Ronk, as well as leading jazz artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Ruby Braff, Johnny Frigo, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen, and, of course, his father Bucky Pizzarelli. He won a Grammy Award for the best traditional pop vocal album as co-producer of James Taylor’s American Standard in 2021. He has performed on America’s most popular national television shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and Great Performances, as well as the talk shows of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis Philbin, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In 2026, he released his tribute album to Tony Bennett, Dear Mr. Bennett. A radio personality who got his start in the medium in 1984, Pizzarelli is co-host, alongside wife Jessica Molaskey, of WBGO’s Dinner Jazz.
