NYC small businesses use AI, don't cut jobs

Instagram

It seems all you hear about are jobs being lost to AI — but not at some small businesses in New York City. With help from training programs, some small businesses and nonprofits in the city are learning to use the technology to work smarter – not leaner — becoming more efficient without cutting jobs. One example is the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce program called Tech to Table. It teaches using AI for inventory management, sales and cost tracking, staffing and marketing strategies. It’s supported by Google, and restaurant owners get a 5,000-dollar grant upon completion.
