Governor Hochul is demanding a refund of all the tariffs New Yorkers have paid. Hochul is seeking $13.5 billion from the Trump administration, that’s how much budget analysts say consumers, small businesses and farmers in the state have paid in tariffs since they were levied last year. Those tariffs have been struck down by the Supreme Court. Analysts say the average New York household has shelled out almost $1800 because of the tariffs.
