Mayor Zohran Mamdani is unveiling plans to add bus and bike lanes across New York City.
Mamdani is planning to finish four bus and bike lane projects on major arteries that were previously halted by the Adams administration.
"For the millions who live in neighborhoods without subway access, buses and bikes are how they get where they need to go, Yet for too long, the health of our bus and bike lanes has been neglected."
Mamdani plans to put in 14 miles of bike lanes in southern Brooklyn and add bus lanes in the Bronx on Fordham Road. Mamdani also wants to finish off a protected bike lane on Ashland Place in Fort Greene and install a new bike lane loop at Wingate Park.
