The union representing New York City firefighters is outraged over the discovery of 9-11 related health documents after the city denied their existence.
City officials say 68 boxes have been discovered at a DEP Facility that contain information related to data from the deadly 9-11 Ground Zero toxins. It's unclear yet what the data reveals are but President of the Uniformed Firefighters Association Andrew Ansbro says there could be key information that was kept hidden that would have impacted health decisions.
"New York City firefighters demand to know who in New York City government hid those documents."
For Ansbro, this is personal.
"My father passed away two and a half years ago from World Trade Center Illnesses."
Officials with the Adams administration didn't comment because they say the city is still involved in litigation with first responders and their families.
