One of the main challenges Aung faces in running an Internet startup in Myanmar is not having a consistent Internet connection. There are several Internet and electricity outages every day.

A free high speed internet program benefitting New Yorkers in NYCHA buildings will go for at least another three years. It was set to run out later next year but the Adams administration says it's being extended. The Big Apple Connect program was helping provide broadband to hundreds of thousands of low income residents. Under the extension, Optimum and Spectrum will also provide free digital training at libraries throughout the five boroughs. The new contract runs through June of year 2028.
