Race For mayor tightens- Cuomo picks up key endorsement

Governor Cuomo
hollywoodreporter.com

Two new polls show the race for New York City mayor on the Democratic side could be getting closer among the top two candidates.

Former Governor Andrew Cuomo remains the frontrunner but Zohran Mamdani is not far behind. A survey conducted by Data for Progress on behalf of Mamdani finds Cuomo up by just two points. However, a poll from Cuomo's team shows Cuomo with a 12-point lead. Meanwhile, Cuomo just picked up and endorsement of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Early voting starts Saturday. The primary is June 24th. Mayor Eric Adams is running for re-election as an independent.
