New York City will be honoring 9-11 veteran heroes with a ticker tape parade.

Mayor Eric Adams says the parade will pay tribute to the men and women who fought the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan following the 9-11 terror attacks.

Department of Veterans Services Commissioner James Hendon says “For the post-9/11 generation of combat veterans and their families, this march down Broadway is a symbol of belonging, of closure, and of collective pride.
