New data shows the MTA continues to bring in strong revenue from the Manhattan congestion pricing tolling program.

The MTA brought in 52 million dollars from congestion pricing in the month of February and that now makes it over 100-million dollars since the tolls started on January 5th. That means The MTA is on track to meeting its goal of half a billion dollars in the first year. The money is being used for capital improvements to mass transit. New York Officials are still battling the Trump Administration which has ordered the tolling program to be shutdown. The MTA refuses, arguing it was already approved under the Biden Administration. The matter will be heard in court.
