WBGO is partnering with Angels New Jersey to help raise funds for the breast cancer awareness organization based in Montclair, New Jersey.

Angels New Jersey's founder and CEO Angelina Killane-Sims spoke with WBGO's Doug Doyle about the partnership and why her non-profit organization is making a big difference in Essex County and beyond.

Killane-Sims, a breast cancer survivor, was first diagnosed when she was just turning 40. Since then, she's been committed to help others through awareness and education.

WBGO supporters are encouraged to give an extra $5 donation to Angels New Jersey during this March fund drive (March 6-10).

Doug Doyle has been News Director at WBGO since 1998 and has taken his department to new heights in coverage and recognition. Doug and his staff have received more than 250 awards from organizations like PRNDI (now PMJA), AP, New York Association of Black Journalists, Garden State Association of Black Journalists and the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists.
