Hoboken PATH station shutting for repairs

The busy Hoboken PATH Station is now closed for nearly a month for major repair work.

The station just closed at midnight Thursday and will not reaopen until February 25th. PATH Director Clarelle DeGraffe is asking riders for patients as crews make repairs connected to damage done by Superstorm Sandy. This is part of a 430 million dollar investment for the Path Forward program.

"What PATH Forward does is looking to stabilize our tracks and our cars in order to improve the reliability of the system."

Because of the closure Port Authority will be offering free shuttle service and cross honor tickets for other PATH lines.
