There's a big shakeup at the New York City Police Department with two high level departures over the weekend.
The Chief of the Department Jeffery Maddrey resigned following allegations of sexual misconduct. The New York Post detailed allegations that he demanded sexual favors from Lieutenant Quathisha Epps in exchange for giving her excessive overtime. Records show last year she was the highest paid NYPD employee at 400-thousand dollars, with more than half of that in overtime. Maddrey denied accusations against him. Epps filed a complaint on Saturday. Police Commissioner Jessica Tische then removed Chief Miguel Iglesias, the head of the department's Internal Affairs Bureau. He then notified the department of his intent to retire.
