New York City Mayor Eric Adams is due back in court Wednesday for a hearing related to federal charges against him. Meanwhile, he says he will continue to run the city.
Adams has had numerous calls to step down from fellow Democrats in the City. However, despite facing bribery and other charges and seeing several top administration officials resign, Adams insists the city is still functioning.
"I put my life on the line for this city. I am never going to harm this city. I can do this job and I will continue to do this job and I have the right team to do the job."
The mayor was hit with lots of reporter questions Tuesday about the federal charges against him but refused to go into details because of legal advice not to go there. Adams' legal team is looking to get the bribery charge dismissed.
