Suffolk County prosecutors are releasing new information and sketches in hopes the public can identify one of the Gilgo Beach murder victims.
Authorities released new sketches of a southern Chinese decent male between 17 and 23 years old. Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says he was wearing women's clothing and remains were found off Ocean Parkway in 2011 but had been there for at least five years.
"We believe Asian Doe may have been working as a sex worker around the time of their disappearance prior to 2006. We believe that they spent some time in New York City prior to their death."
Tierney says the victim died from blunt force trauma. He wouldn't name a suspect when asked if it was Rex Heuermann. Heuermann has been charged with six murders in the area Asian Doe was found.
