When you gotta go you gotta go. There will be more public restrooms coming to New York City.
Deputy Mayor Meera Joshi acknowledge that there's not nearly enough public bathrooms in New York City.
"We all know how challenging it can be to enjoy our public spaces, avenues and parks when your suffering from range anxiety. How far can you go and still be in range of a public toilet."
Mayor Eric Adams says the Department of Parks and Recreation will construct 46 new public restrooms and fix up up 36 existing ones over the next five years. Meanwhile, the city is making it easier for folks to find public restrooms. Many of them are being added to Google Maps.
