New Jersey is being labeled as the worst driving state of the country.
Research from the company MoneyGeek shows the Garden State experiences the highest level of road congestion in the country and it also has the second poorest road quality in the nation and is 12 worst in cost when it comes to driving.
"It didn't do as poorly in the safety and weather categories but the way New Jersey ranked for those other three categories was enough to bring it to the top relative to the other states."
The data manager for MoneyGeek Anja Solum says their research found just 55 percent of New Jersey roads are in acceptable condition. New York came in as the 16th worst state to drive.
