A new Anti-Defamation League office is opening in Brooklyn following a spike in anti Semitic acts.

The Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt says nearly half the anti-Semitic attacks in the country took place in Brooklyn last year and there's been a huge increase in hate acts against the Jewish community in the borough.

"We are talking about bus drivers being shot with BB guns as they go about their routes. We are talking about visibly Jewish teenagers being assaulted."

He says opening an ADL office in Brooklyn will help the league work directly with people impacted by anti-Semitic acts and show commitment to the Jewish community there.
