Madame Tussauds Icons of Horror Exhibit Will Leave You Screaming This Halloween

Madame Tussauds New York

Tread carefully through rooms with scenes from The Exorcist, The Conjuring Universe, and IT!

It’s Halloween! if you’re in the mood for something good and scary, try Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square and the new Warner Brothers Icons of Horror exhibit!

Brittany Williams of Tussauds starts us off with a visit to a possessed doll from the movie The Conjuring Universe.

“The first room you’re going to meet Annabelle, head down a creepy corridor into a girl’s bedroom and take a seat next to Annabelle for a tea party photo op, seemingly harmless, but then the table starts to shake and objects mysteriously move around the room,” she said.

Next — The Exorcist!

“The guests will meet 12-year-old Regan, a possessed child, she’s a terrifying wax figure that levitates above the bed, causing strange Poltergeist-like activity, including terrifying animated shadows on the ceiling,” said Williams.

How about the nun from The Conjuring Universe? And even clowns can be scary.

“Guests will make their way thru a room where they’ll pass thru some dark corners to survive the menacing nun otherwise known as Valek, and then finally guests will find themselves in a dark and rundown house, this is where they’ll come face to face and be terrorized by the dancing clown Pennywise from IT,” Williams said.

Williams says the exhibit is not just for Halloween, so there’s plenty of time to see it, but she adds that for this exhibit, best to leave the little ones home. Eeek.
