Westchester County is now requiring danger warnings for those selling guns.
The new law just signed by County Executive George Latimer requires every person or firm in the business of selling firearms to post a danger warning in big letters at the point of sale and entrance to the site. Barry Graubart is with the group Moms Demand Action
“I have lost two friends to gun suicide in my life that and we know that laws like this will reduce that likelihood.”
The required warning reads in part, access to a weapon in a home increases risk of homicide and suicide during a domestic dispute and unintentional children deaths.
