New York City officials are trying to make the Big Apple a leader in the digital gaming industry.
The City College of New York for the first time will be offering a bachelor's degree in digital game design starting in the fall. Mayor Adam’s administration will invest two million dollars into the program with the goal of reaching over one thousand students pursuing digital gaming degrees in the next three years. City officials say last year the digital gaming industry supported 76-hundred jobs and is projected to keep growing.
