The Adams administration is unveiling a blueprint for New York City’s economic recovery from coronavirus. Among dozens of economic agenda items, The Adams Administration plans on investing more in life sciences, growing a recreational marijuana industry and making New York City the hub for digital game development. Deputy Mayor Maria Torres Springer says the city will also provide small businesses much needed relief.
“Cutting opening times in half, waiving fees, reforming licensing requirements and eliminating the city’s 25 percent surcharge on liquor licenses.”
