Coronavirus numbers continue to go down in New York State. The latest daily report shows 27-hundred new coronavirus cases. Governor Hochul says that shows a continuous trend downward over the past 47 days since the winter surge peak.

“Since we suspended our indoor mask requirements, mask or vaccination requirement, we have not seen an increase in cases which we have been monitoring very closely. So that again is very good news.”

The seven day average positivity rate is about two percent. The number of hospitalizations has fallen to under 23 hundred. Both are at levels before the winter surge.
