Folks in New York City are paying their respects to a fallen NYPD officer. The line was long to get into St Patrick’s Cathedral for the wake of 22-year-old officer Jason Rivera this afternoon. Many were police officers but a number of New Yorkers showed up as well like Alda And Ralph.
“I told my wife I was coming here just because these guys put their life out on the line every single day.”
“You got to pay respects to someone that sacrifices their life to protect the members of the city.”
The 22 year old Rivera who grew up in Inwood leaves behind a wife. They got married three months ago
