“We should be able to make a personal medical decision with our doctors console, not to be forced. No Mandate.”
They say the vaccine or test program that was in place was preventing COVID spread. Those who are not vaccinated will be placed on unpaid leave November First and Firefighter union President Andrew Ansbro warns there will be slower response times because of staffing shortages.
“November First, New York City firefighters will be at their firehouses. If the mayor and commissioner send them home, this will be on them.
The mayor says there will be overtime and schedule changes if needed to address staffing shortages.
