Today marks the full opening of Legoland in the Lower Hudson Valley.
The theme park geared toward children 12 and under has 50 rides, a hotel, pools and other attractions. All seven sections of Lego Land in the Orange County community of Goshen are now open to the public. Despite the opening being delayed for a year because of coronavirus, Governor Cuomo says the full opening is coming at the right time during the pandemic.
“All this desire to get out and see things and let the kids run around and in this moment Legoland, a national attraction opens up.”
This is the first major theme park in the Northeast to open in more than four decades.
