It's gotten easier to get a coronavirus vaccine appointment in New York City. Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi says people who have been frustrated trying to get a vaccine appointment online will likely have an easier time now.

“Appointments that were being snapped up literally within seconds of them being posted. There is now a longer window, not too long, hours or in some cases a day or two before they get filled.”

He and the mayor are hoping this will also convince some people who were hesitant to get the vaccine. The head of the city’s health committee, Councilman Mark Levine tweeted, “Our challenge is no longer managing the crush of demand. It's building trust in this life-saving solution.”
