The pregame show at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans was filled jazz. New Orleans icon Harry Connick Jr. performed with Southern University's Human Jukebox.

“How y’all feeling, baby? Let’s celebrate some New Orleans music and culture at Super Bowl 59."

Connick brought the Mardi Gras spirit to life with music, dance, and plenty of New Orleans flair. Jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard, The Soul Rebels, Master P, and the Mardi Gras Indians lit up the stage.

Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle also performed prior to kickoff.

Seven-time Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste sang the national anthem.
