One of today’s most inventive bassists, the London-born, Lagos-raised Michael Olatuja has worked with Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Angelique Kidjo, Shakira, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Hugh Masekela, Terence Blanchard, and Joe Lovano, and many others. He performs selections from his acclaimed album Lagos Pepper Soup at this free show, Friday, July 26 at 7pm in Bryant Park.

The lineup for the Bryant Park Picnic Performances series for the summer of 2024, presented by Bank of America and supported in part by WBGO, includes numerous jazz concerts, as well as opera, classical, world music and dance performances. All shows are free to the public and the presenters will be making more than 700 picnic blankets available for audience members to borrow.

For a complete lineup of performances, visit Bryant Park’s website.
