On December 14, 2022, WBGO in partnership with Yamaha presented a special tribute concert celebrating the legacy of longtime host Michael Bourne, who died earlier that year. Among the artists performing in the Yamaha Studios were The New York Voices, Janis Siegel, Allan Harris, Duchess, Helen Sung, The Royal Bopsters, Gabrielle Stravelli and Antoinette Montague. The event—hosted by Doug Doyle, Lezlie Harrison (who also performed during the concert) and Brian Delp—was attended by members of WBGO’s Jazz Leadership Society and staff.
