Last Saturday on Rhythm Revue, Felix Hernandez celebrated the life and music of Aretha Franklin, who died on Aug. 16.
The spirit-filled show was a four-hour tribute to the Queen of Soul; among other things, it included a full broadcast of her landmark 1971 album Live at Fillmore West.
Many of our listeners shared their gratitude for this special edition of Rhythm Revue. We're proud to announce that it will rebroadcast this Friday, Aug. 24, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Four hours of Aretha's music, plus interviews with those who knew her.
