The Nereid Boat Club was started in Newark in 1858 but is now located in Rutherford on the Passaic River. One of its members, Jeff Arnott, is going to the World Rowing Indoor Championships in Toronto next weekend.

WBGO’s Jon Kalish dropped by the club’s boathouse to watch him work out.
