  • Recently featured in NPR Morning Edition & Spotify's "Best Jazz of 2021", saxophonist Mike Casey & his Trio is an experience to behold. The absence of guitar/piano allows the band a rare sound: earthy, yet mysterious - incorporating ingredients of funk, R&B, hip hop & music from around the world into their own definition of jazz fusion. This trio demands the audiences’ attention – whether bringing down the house with story based originals or captivating listeners with genre-bending re-imaginations of songs by Soundgarden, Queen, Daniel Caesar & even Jay-Z.
