  • Norm Lewis can currently be seen starring in the SAG, Critics Choice, and NAACP Image Award-nominated Netflix film “Da 5 Bloods” by Spike Lee and in the groundbreaking FX series, Pose. Additionally, Mr. Lewis can be seen in Peacock’s newest series, Dr. Death, and offscreen, his voice can be heard in the latest season of Apple TV’s animated series, Central Park. He was previously seen in the NBC television special, “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!,” alongside John Legend, Sara Bareilles, and Alice Cooper. Mr. Lewis returned to Broadway this fall starring in Chicken and Biscuits at the Circle In The Square Theatre. He recently appeared in the Broadway revival of Once on This Island and as Sweeney Todd in the Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Barrow Street Theatre, receiving the AUDELCO Award for his performance. In May of 2014, he made history as The Phantom of the Opera’s first African American Phantom on Broadway.

  • The Vince Ector Group will be in concert at the Englewood Public Library, on Thursday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m. on the library’s front plaza. This will be the 10th and final concert in the library's 9th annual Summer Jazz Concert Series - "Jazz Under the Stars". This concert is rescheduled from August 1. Please bring your own chair or blanket. Vincent Ector hails from the musical city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he attended the University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Vincent produced his second CD as a leader entitled Renewal of the Spirit for Mambo Maniacs Records. This recording features Bobby Watson on Saxophones and four of Vincent's original compositions. Ector is featured performing on drum set, djembe and sangba African drums.
