Cuomo Makes Changes to NYC COVID Hot Spots While Expressing Concern Over New Areas of The State

Governor Cuomo is adjusting the coronavirus cluster zones while expressing concern about a new area of New York State.

Cuomo is pleased with coronavirus progress in Queens, giving the okay for the red and orange zones to turn yellow which means businesses and schools can reopen…but he’s not thrilled with Brooklyn, and Orange and Rockland counties where tight restrictions and red zones remain.

“Although we have made a lot progress, the numbers are still not acceptable.”

The governor is also ramping up testing near the PA border where there is an uptick in cases.

“Pennsylvania has a high infection rate. You could have people going from those counties to Pennsylvania.”
