NPR

A New study shows New Jersey and New York rank near the top for best places to live in the U.S..

Wallethub studied five categories for the all the states. Education and Health, Quality of Life, Safety, Affordability and Economy. WalletHub analyst Jill Gonzalez says New Jersey came in second and New York came in third only behind Massachusetts.

“Great education system, great healthcare, high quality of life and pretty safe states overall is what really put them in the top three.”

However, both New Jersey and New York ranked close to last in affordability and were ranked low on the economy category.
