A report calls for significant changes to anti-Semitism policies at the City University of New York.
Governor Kathy Hochul ordered an independent review of CUNY policy and rules after pro Palestinian protests on campuses led to some students feeling unsafe. The report found a small number of individuals were behind anti Semitic incidents. The report shows CUNY policy on discrimination and anti-Semitism needs to be significantly updated and had 13 recommendations. That includes having an independent monitor address complaints of anti-Semitism. CUNY says its already taken steps combat hate and discrimination.
