Master drummer Jeff Hamilton has provided his signature swing to the groups of Monty Alexander, Ray Brown, Woody Herman, singers Rosemary Clooney, John Pizzarelli and Diana Krall, and toured the world as drummer and Co-leader of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. He also has an affinity for the organ trio, first with Atsuko Hashimoto, and more recently with the recently departed Akiko Tsuruga.
The energy of their first collaboration, "Equal Time", continues here with the new release, "Coast To Coast". Alongside guitarist Steve Kovalcheck, this organic threesome shares originals with classics from the books of Bud Powell and Wes Montgomery and others guaranteed to make you move like they do.
