A Jewish-American trauma therapist went to Israel to help both Israelis and Arabs

Lisa Fliegel is a Boston-based trauma therapist who has spent more than thirty years working with Israelis, Palestinians, survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing and relatives of inner-city homicide victims. The 63 year-old mental health professional been in Israel dealing with the survivors of the October 7 Hamas massacres.

As WBGO’s Jon Kalish reports, Fliegel has also been trying to protect Palestinians and Arabs who are the focus of Israeli rage.
