Governor Kathy Hochul is addressing threats against Jewish students at Cornell University.
Governor Hochul visited Cornell Monday where she sat down with students at the University's Center For Jewish life. Her visit comes a day after online violent threats surfaced against Jewish students at Cornell.
"Because you want to let people know if you are going to engage in these harmful actions, hate crimes, breaking our laws, you will be caught."
The FBI and local authorities are investigating. Hochul says state police will continue with heightened security across school campuses statewide. The Anti-Defamation League says there's been a huge surge in anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. following Hamas’s attack on Israel.
