The next edition of WBGO's call-in program Newark Today is November 18 at 8pm

On the next Newark Today (November 18 at 8pm) host Michael Hill will be joined by the new New Jersey State Senate Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz to talk about her historic appointment following this month’s election.

We'll also be joined by Dr. Shereef Elnahal, the President and CEO of University Hospital in Newark, to talk about vaccines for children and whats next as we approach the winter holiday season.

We'll be taking calls live at 973-297-0941. That’s this Thursday night (November 18) at 8 o'clock right here on WBGO 88.3FM, online at wbgo.org and streaming LIVE on the Newark Today Facebook page.

Alexandra Hill began her work with WBGO in June of 2012 in the news department. A graduate of the Rutgers Newark journalism program, Alexandra was also a student of WBGO News Director Doug Doyle. Alexandra also covers a host of human-interest stories, and has been recognized by the New York Association Of Black Journalists for her piece entitled Sheltering Newark’s Homeless.
