This October, Robert Glasper will return to the Blue Note in New York City for a month-long residency they call “Robtober.” The series, which kicks off October 4 and runs through November 5, will feature the keyboardist along with a diverse lineup of groups and special guests, including Norah Jones, Kamasi Washington, Yebba, Terrace Martin, Chris Dave, yasiin bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and many others. The complete schedule is listed below.

According to Blue Note Entertainment Group president Steven Bensusan, the residency, now in its fifth year, inspired the organization to present the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa, Calif, which featured Glasper as host and a star-studded lineup of artists, including most recently Mary J. Blige, Nas, Chance the Rapper, Dave Chappelle, Talib Kweli & Madlib and many others. “The Festival in Napa is a perfect example of how much the residency has grown, and what the residency has built,” said Glasper in a press release received at WBGO. “This has been an amazing run. Can’t wait to see what year five has in store.”
