A celebration of the life and music of David Sanborn on WBGO

Pat Prescott, host of Favorite Things, weekdays from noon-4 on WBGO and long-time Sanborn collaborator, Marcus Miller.
The special is two hours long and will air on Saturday, August 3rd from 6-8pm and Sunday, August 4th from 6-8pm.
The show features anecdotes from David’s friends, family, and collaborators, including:
● His long-time manager and friend, Pat Rains
● David’s co-host for the Night Music TV show, Jools Holland
● David’s wife, musician Alice Soyer
● Trumpeter Randy Brecker
● Best-selling author and musician James McBride
● Producer Stewart Levine
The show will also include the world premiere of a track from David’s forthcoming, posthumous album, The Other Side.
