A documentary film screening and panel discussion of Pollard's Max Roach: The Drum Also Waltzes m Pollard. Pollard will be on hand for the event on January 18 at the Newark Museum of Art.

Then On January 26th, The Max Roach Centennial Freedom Now Suite Concert at NJPAC. Waits will be the musical director of that special concert which will include Cassandra Wilson and Ravi Coltrane.
