A migrant is under arrest for a sexual assault on a teen girl at a Queens Park last week.
NYPD Chief Joe Kenny says members in the community held the suspect Christian Geovanny -Landi and fought with him until police arrived Tuesday morning. Kenny says the suspect admitted to officers that he sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl after tying her up along with a 13 year old boy in Kiseena Park last week.
"He indicated he has a drug problem, that he found a knife that he used to threaten the two teens, that this is the first time he had done anything like this."
Kenny says Landi is an Ecuadorian migrant who entered the country illegally through Texas a few years ago and has lived in several places in New York City. He faces a slew up charges including rape.
