The Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet performs live at WBGO to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month. The group appears April 10 and 12 at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola as part of JALC's seven-night Dave Brubeck festival, which celebrates the life and music of the pianist, who died in 2012.
The ensemble features students at the College of the Pacific, home of the Brubeck Institute, with Max Boiko on trumpet, Joel Ross, vibes and piano, Sean Britt, guitar, Sarah Kuo, bass and Jalon D'Mere Archie, drums.
