Anat Cohen stops by at Newport

After her set, Anat Cohen stopped by to talk with WBGO's Josh Jackson, then ran off to sign CD's. She was the clarinetist in George Wein's Newport All Stars.

Sunday at Newport - we meet a WBGO ticket winner!

Jackie Zubeck won tickets to the 2008 Newport Jazz Festival, and she just introduced herself to us saying thank you! She's having a great time. People start lining up at 6am or earlier, then when the gate opens at 10, the first people in line make tracks to the turf directly in front of the main stage of the 2008 Newport Jazz Festival, and start laying out their tarps and staking out their territory. Beautiful day here!
