Guadagno Picks Rendo for Lt. Governor

Republican for Governor Kim Guadagno has picked Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo to succeed her as Lieutenant Governor.  Rendo is wasting no time taking shots at the policies Democrat Phil Murphy is putting forth.

"Phil Murphy has proposed a $75 billion increase in government spending.  He has promised to raise taxes on everyone to pay for everything from government run healthcare to a state run bank.  We know what happened the last time we had an out of touch Goldman Sachs millionaire run this state," Rendo said referring to former NJ democratic governor John Corzine.

Republican Kim Guadagno says they'll immediately put forth a 100-day government audit if elected to office.

Guadagno says she'll find ways to give NJ residents property tax relief if elected to the governor's office in November.

"Carlos will submit an action plan to the Governor, to me as a part of how much overall money can be saved as a pledge to reduce your property tax from New Jersey Transit to the DMV, we won't rest until New Jerseyans have the responsive, efficient, and innovative government that they deserve at a price that they can afford."

Democrat Phil Murphy is an early favorite in recent polling leading into the first gubernatorial debates.
