Cuomo Expands NY Vaccination Efforts

Governor Andrew Cuomo is expanding on who can get the coronavirus vaccine.

Governor Cuomo says he’s adding new distribution networks including pharmacies, green lighting them to distributed the vaccine to the so called 1B group.  That’s around 3.2 million New York state residents.  It includes those 75 and older and education workers.

“Police officers, firefighters, whatever the percent you represent of 1B will be the percent that is allocated to your group, all treated fairly and proportionally by group and by region.”

He says if folks call and make an appointment next week, don’t be surprised if the wait time is months at the current supply pace.
